A well-travelled polyglot, with a passion for art, history, and communications, Anna-Maria Moubayed is always curious and eager to learn and grow in stimulating work environments. She believes in the power of knowledge, culture, and the humanities in the construction of a more ethical, sustainable, and peaceful and harmonious world.
A lecturer, translator, and prolific researcher and writer, Anna-Maria has taught and facilitated courses at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, since September 2012. Since 2013, she has served as the Editorial Administrator for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers’ (IEEE) Canadian Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Anna-Maria is currently in the final stages of completing a Ph.D. in Art History at Queen's University where she has been awarded various national and regional research grants and participated in prominent international conferences. She has a vast array of experience in communications, administration, translation, digital art, and academia. Anna-Maria's multidisciplinary analytical skills, detailed-oriented approach, dynamic personality, and adaptability aim to educate and shed perspective on the future of our technologically-focused society.
